Connecticut law enforcement officials are hoping to crack some of their unsolved cases by giving playing cards to prison inmates. Correction Department spokesman Brian Garnett says each card in the deck features a photo of a victim in a cold case and a short description of the case. He says the cards will be given to inmates in the state’s prisons with the hope that someone will be able to link a case with a criminal. Several states have similar programs and tips have been credited with solving crimes and finding missing people.
