Cyclists are offered site to report hazards

A new online tool has been set up for Connecticut bicyclists to report unsafe conditions to the state. The site, www.ctbikemap.org, already has bicycling routes and links to advocacy groups. The state Department of Transportation recently added a feature letting users report bicycling hazards and collisions. The department hopes to pinpoint areas that need repairs or other work and to encourage people to try bicycling and walking as an alternative to driving.
