University officials say counselors will be available all week at Central Connecticut State University. Classes resumed for the spring semester yesterday just two days after two students were killed in a car crash. Police said Brittany Mariani, 24, of Ludlow, Mass., and her boyfriend, Rich Royster, 20, of Ossining, N.Y., died when their car struck the back of a tractor-trailer stopped on Charter Oak Bridge in Hartford just before 5 a.m. Saturday. Royster was a defensive lineman on the school’s football team. University officials said a memorial service is being planned.
