HARTFORD, Conn.—Connecticut state police say extra troopers will be out patrolling for drunk drivers during the long Thanksgiving weekend.
Police say they will conduct many roving DUI patrols on the state's roads and highways.
The day before Thanksgiving and the holiday itself are considered two of the busiest traffic days of the year.
Authorities say uniformed troopers will use nontraditional patrol cars to watch for reckless or distracted drivers.![]()
