Conn. man charged with killing 64-year-old mother

SOUTHINGTON, Conn.—A Connecticut man has been charged with killing his 64-year-old mother at the Southington trailer home park where she lived.
James D'Aguila of New Britain is scheduled to be arraigned Friday at Bristol Superior Court on charges including murder, felony murder, robbery and larceny in the death of Donna D'Aguila.
Police say the 34-year-old James Aguila beat his mother to death on Thursday, stole her car and drove back to his home in New Britain. He was arrested Thursday night and held on $1.5 million bail.
It's not clear if D'Aguila has a lawyer.
