GAINESVILLE, Va.—A suspected serial bank robber has been arrested and charged in a Prince William County bank heist last week.

Employees at a Bank of America in Gainesville told police that a man implied he had a gun and handed a teller a note demanding money Friday. A county news release said the man then fled with cash.

On Monday, police say Kevin Bolden was pulled over for speeding in central Virginia. Nelson County police discovered Bolden was wanted in Connecticut for robbing seven banks and a hotel.

Prince William officials say cash from the Gainesville robbery was found in the car.

Bolden's girlfriend, Moneek Grant, was with him. Police allege she was an accomplice in the Gainesville robbery.

Both were charged with robbery and grand larceny in that robbery.
