6 Conn. soldiers to be added to Wall of Honor
HARTFORD, Conn.—The portraits of six Connecticut soldiers will be added to the Wall of Honor tribute at the State Capitol in May.
The soldiers, who were killed in Afghanistan, will be honored in a public ceremony at the Legislative Office Building in Hartford on May 24.
At the ceremony, family members will read the names of and speak about their loved ones.
The honorees include: Army Spec. Richard Emmons of North Granby, Army Pfc. Eric Soufrine of Woodbridge, Navy SEAL Chief Petty Officer Brian Bill of Stamford, Army Sgt. Edward Frank II of Hartford, Army Staff Sgt. Ari Cullers of Waterford and Army Spec. Dennis Pratt of Southington.
The Wall of Honor includes portraits of soldiers who have died in conflict. It was started in 2007 by Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman.![]()
