GROTON, Conn.—Investigators say two sailors assigned to the Naval Submarine Base in Groton were found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana.
NCIS spokesman Ed Buice (BICE) says the sailors with the drugs were pulled over Monday night by Groton police.
He said the Naval Criminal Investigative Service is investigating allegations that other Navy members may be involved in drug use. He said he could not provide further details because the agency does not comment on ongoing investigations.
The Groton police department said those involved in the case were not immediately available to comment.![]()
