HARTFORD, Conn.—Connecticut environmental officials are warning of unhealthy air quality in some counties for people with respiratory problems.
The forecast for Saturday has been issued for Fairfield, New Haven, Middlesex and New London counties where ground-level ozone pollution is expected because of hot weather.
The Department of Energy and Environmental Protection says there's an increased likelihood of respiratory symptoms and breathing discomfort in active children and adults with conditions such as asthma.![]()
