Conn. teen arrested in fatal weekend shooting
HAMDEN, Conn.—Hamden police say a teenager has been arrested in connection with the weekend fatal shooting of a 22-year-old man.
Police Chief Thomas Wydra said the youth, who is a juvenile, has been charged with felony murder and weapons charges in the death of James T. Dudley. Wydra said the teen was arrested Sunday and is being held at the juvenile detention center in Bridgeport.
The police chief said Dudley was shot three times on North Street after an argument with someone. He said police are still investigating the circumstances, but got leads from social media.
Dudley's family says he was attending community college and working as a teacher's aide with developmentally disabled children.
