Acclaimed fiction author Louise Erdrich will deliver the main commencement address to her alma mater, Dartmouth College, on June 14.

Erdrich often uses her Native American heritage as the basis for her novels. She was named a finalist in 2009 for the Pulitzer Prize in Fiction for her novel "Plague of Doves."
