
Police all over Massachusetts have used the Criminal Offender Record Information system, or CORI, to pry into the data of famous local personalities, according to a yearlong review by state Auditor A. Joseph DeNucci.
For instance, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady's personal information, everything from his driver's license photo and home address to whether he had purchased a gun, was looked up 968 times for no official reason.
