MIT sophomore Star Simpson, 19, was arrested at Logan International Airport and arraigned at East Boston District Court on Friday on charges of disturbing the peace and possessing a hoax device. She was wearing a sweatshirt that had a circuit board affixed to the front with green LED lights and wires running to a 9-volt battery.
