Cognitive Science A group of researchers won their Ig Nobel for their findings that slime molds can do more than just feed on microorganisms in decaying vegetable matter; they can also solve puzzles. Toshiyuki Nakagaki, Hiroyasu Yamada, Ryo Kobayashi, Atsushi Tero, Akio Ishiguro and Agota Toth were the winners.
