AUGUSTA, Maine (AP) — An Augusta pharmacy has been robbed for third time within the past year.
Police say the CVS on Stone Street was robbed at about 4 p.m. Tuesday by a man who fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of prescription medications.
The robber was described as a white man wearing faded jeans, dark shoes, a black and white knit hat with ear flaps, white gloves and scarf, a blue and white jacket and a blue neck warmer over his lower face. He appeared to be in his late 20s to early 30s, between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-7, and between 150 and 170 pounds.
No weapon was shown.
The store was also robbed in February and May last year. Arrests were made in both robberies.
