AUGUSTA, Maine (AP) — Services for Maj. Gregory Sanborn, second-in-command of the Maine Warden Service, have been rescheduled due to the snowstorm.
Calling hours will be 4-6 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday. A celebration of life ceremony honoring the 47-year-old Sanborn will be Monday at 11 a.m., also at the Maine Criminal Justice Academy in Vassalboro.
The 23-year veteran of the warden service died Tuesday in hospice from cancer.
The events were rescheduled because Sanborn’s family wanted to make sure that everyone who wants to attend can travel safely.
