Two people were arrested Tuesday on charges related to a methamphetamine lab authorities say they found in Merrill, Maine, NECN reports.
Micah Lawlor, 38, has been charged with two counts of methamphetamine trafficking. Both he and his girlfriend Jessica Tremblay, 26, have also been charged with burglary and criminal trespass.
The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency reportedly found 24 meth-cooking “devices” inside Lawlor’s house last week, making this the fifteenth meth lab Maine’s DEA has uncovered in 2014. NECN reports that there were 20 suspected methamphetamine labs found in the state of Maine in all of 2013.
The couple was renting the residence where they allegedly kept the meth-cooking devices. The house’s owner who will be charged as well, according to police.
