Snowfall totals keep piling up in Maine

CARIBOU, Maine—Snowfall amounts keep piling up following the weekend storm in Maine.

According to the National Weather Service, Caribou has now gotten 158.6 inches for the season. That makes it the third-snowiest winter on record, just two-tenths of an inch behind the second-snowiest year.

This year is on track to break the all-time record of 181.1 inches, in 1955.

Bangor has now gotten more than 93 inches for the season, while Portland has received nearly 91 inches.
