CASTINE, Maine—College commencement season is arriving in Maine, and as usual Maine Maritime Academy is first off.
Tomorrow (at 11 a.m.), Maine Maritime holds its 65th graduation ceremony. Gov. John Baldacci is scheduled to address the graduating class, whose members represent 87 Maine communities, 22 other states, and Canada, China, India and Japan.
On Tuesday, Maine Maritime's training ship, State of Maine, embarks on its annual international training cruise from Castine harbor.
