PRESQUE ISLE, Maine—An Andy Warhol exhibit is coming to Maine.

The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts has donated more than 28,500 original photographs valued at more than $28 million to 183 college and university art museums.

The University of Maine at Presque Isle is one of three in Maine to get some of the photos. Earlier this year, the university received 153 silver gelatin prints and Polaroid images, valued at more than $100,000, from the Andy Warhol Photographic Legacy Program.

The "Andy at UMPI" exhibit, which opens Saturday, includes portraits of Wayne Gretzky, Warhol's assistant Pat Hackett, and the transvestite Holly Woodlawn.
