Portland awaits flurry of cruise ship visits
PORTLAND, Maine --Maine's largest city is poised for a flurry of cruise ship visits.
Six ships, including Cunard's Queen Mary 2, are scheduled to make a call to Portland next week.
The Queen Mary 2 arrives Wednesday with 2,620 passengers as part of a weeklong cruise along the New England and Canadian coast. It will be the ship's third visit to Portland.
The Carnival Victory, a Carnival Cruise Line ship carrying 2,758 passengers, arrives Monday for its final Portland visit of the year.
