LEWISTON, Maine—Snoop Dogg is slipping in a Maine stop on his latest tour. The rapper, who released Malice n Wonderland in December 2009, is set to perform on Feb. 27 at Bates College.
Keith Tannenbaum, assistant dean of students and coordinator of student activities for Bates College, told the Sun Journal that the college was approached by Snoop Dogg's agent late last week. Snoop Dogg already had dates for Friday and Sunday, and the agent pitched a Saturday performance at Bates.
The college's Chase Hall Committee, the student-run activity board, announced the concert in an e-mail Wednesday afternoon. It was posted on the rapper's Web site on Thursday.
