PORTLAND, Maine—Two Mainers say they're planning to release a new version of their lobster app.

The so-called iLobster gives instructions on eating lobsters and directions to lobster restaurants, while also letting users order Maine's signature seafood from lobster dealers. It is now available only on Apple's iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.

The developers of the app tell the Portland Press Herald they're planning to release a new version this winter that will run on Blackberry smart phones and phones using Google's Android operating system.

They say iLobster has been downloaded about 400 times since its launch in July.
