A South Dakota man charged in the death of a homeless man whose body was found engulfed in flames under a Bangor bridge has been returned to Maine to face court proceedings. Kenneth John Bruning, 25, of Rapid City, S.D., is being held at the Penobscot County Jail. He’s expected to make his first court appearance tomorrow at the Penobscot Judicial Center. Bruning has waived extradition on a murder charge in the March 7, 2006, death of 34-year-old Trevor Sprague.
