AUGUSTA, Maine—While thousands of electric customers in southern New England continue to await restoration of service a week after the Halloween snowstorm, everybody affected in the three states north country have had their power back for days or soon will.

In Maine, the two utilities that experienced roughly 150,000 outages say power's been restored to everyone in the state. Central Maine Power Co. said all affected customers had service restored earlier this week. Bangor Hydro-Electrict Co. says their outages were restored within 24 hours.

Public Service of New Hampshire says crews were completing final repairs Saturday for fewer than 180 customers impacted by the snowstorm, and all are expected to have service back Sunday.

Central Vermont Public Service, which covers most of the state, reported three outages Sunday.
