Maine woman charged with heroin trafficking

NORRIDGEWOCK, Maine—A 45-year-old central Maine woman is being held on $10,000 bail after police said they seized heroin and oxycodone from her car following a monthslong investigation.
The Somerset County Sheriff's Department says Jill Berryman, of North Anson, was arrested Thursday after her car was searched on Route 2 in Norridgewock.
Officials say they found oxycodone tablets, 17 bags of heroin and drug paraphernalia.
Berryman is charged with possession and trafficking of heroin and possession of oxycodone.
