CASTINE, Maine—Maine Maine Maritime Academy's training ship is returning to its home port after nearly two months at sea.

The 500-foot State of Maine is arriving in Castine on Saturday, with training cruise activity continuing in port through Monday.

The ship departed in early May for its voyage, which gives students hands-on training at sea.

This year's cruise included stops in Galveston, Texas; on the Caribbean island of Curacao; Bermuda; and Charleston, S.C.
