Police took two men into custody Friday night while responding to multiple 911 calls reporting gunfire near a home on Rochester Road in Carver, according to Carver Police.

A third man fled the scene at 77 Rochester Road, said Chief Michael R. Miksch in a press release.

None of the men have known ties to Carver, according to police.

A week earlier, officers from the Carver Police and Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department arrested Stephen P. Burke, 25, at the same address and seized drugs and $4,398 in cash.

On Friday night, officers arrived at the home around 11 p.m. and a found 2003 Dodge pickup truck in the driveway. A 2009 Nissan Maxima had crashed nearby after being hit by gunfire, according to a Carver Police dispatcher.

Police arrested Burke July 6 on a warrant for a probation violation stemming from an OUI in 2011. During the arrest, policed seized 22 marijuana plants, hashish, cocaine, Suboxone, and Oxycodone. The raid also found hydroponic equipment, drug paraphernalia, and packaging materials.

Burke was charged with multiple drug offenses.

The investigation is ongoing, police said.
