The 11th annual Michael B. Christensen Memorial Golf Tournament for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect will begin at 8 a.m.  Aug. 20 at the Merrimack Valley Golf Club, 210 Howe St. Registration begins at 7 a.m. and cost is $125  per person, which includes a continental breakfast, mid-morning sandwich, and lunch buffet. Proceeds will benefit the Michael B. Christensen Community and Family Support Center, which strives to help families to nurture their children and develop self-sufficiency and empowerment through education.
