The 10th annual Meet Belmont community information fair will be held Aug. 28 at the Chenery Middle School on Washington Street. The free event allows longtime residents as well as newcomers to learn about town departments and local government, the school system, recreation and arts programs, and community organizations, and register to vote, among other things. It is sponsored by the town’s Vision 21 Implementation Committee and cosponsored by the school district, with support from Belmont Car Wash and the town’s Municipal Light Department.
