The water commissioners have appointed Bruce Baldwin as interim superintendent to run the water department, according to Town Administrator Michael McCue. Baldwin works for Amory Engineering, a Duxbury consulting firm that specializes in water management. He had been superintendent of the Seekonk Water District for 19 years, McCue said. The commissioners will hold a disciplinary hearing Tuesday on Superintendent John Tetreault, who was placed on paid administrative leave last month after pleading guilty in federal court to falsifying water safety records.
