Mass. gas prices up another 3 cents

BOSTON (AP) — The price of a gallon of gas in Massachusetts has jumped three cents in the past week.

AAA Southern New England reports Monday that self-serve, regular is now selling for an average of $3.58 per gallon.

Even though the cost has gone up 20 cents per gallon in the past month, the price in Massachusetts remains three cents below the national average and 15 cents lower than at the same time a year ago.

AAA found self-serve, regular selling for as low as $3.44 per gallon and as high as $3.81.end of story marker
