BOSTON (AP) — Massachusetts Department of Public Health officials are planning to conduct another aerial spraying of mosquitoes in six southeastern towns in an effort to reduce the risk of Eastern Equine Encephalitis.

Officials said Friday that they will conduct their second spraying of the summer Monday evening after 7 p.m. They said the time and date could change based on weather conditions.

Aerial mosquito spraying will take place in Bridgewater, Easton, Norton, Raynham, Taunton and West Bridgewater.

Residents are urged to take precautions, like closing windows and keeping pets indoors, to avoid exposure to pesticides during the event.
