Friday is the deadline for registering to vote in the Aug. 29 Special Town Meeting and the Sept. 6 state primary. The Town Meeting, which will get underway at 7 p.m. in the Bromfield School’s Cronin Auditorium, will focus on extending the solar overlay district to commercial areas along Ayer Road. Residents can obtain registration forms at the town clerk’s office.
