The Police Department will hold an open house on Aug. 22 from 4 to 6 p.m. to showcase renovations to the police station. The first phase of the project has been completed, and the second will begin this fall. People are welcome to walk through the building and see how former portable classroom space from the Howe Manning School has been moved and transformed into office and dispatch space for the police. Students from the North Shore Technical Vocational Regional High School helped the town with the project. Light refreshments will be served. The Middleton Police Department is at 65 North Main St.
