Director of Elder Affairs Lorraine Carrozza said the food pantry’s need for basic items is ongoing. Donations of dry goods, cereals and pasta, canned fruit and vegetables, and toiletries, may be dropped off at the senior center during its business hours, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 9 a.m. to noon Friday. Those wishing to use the food pantry may come between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Thursdays. Carrozza said canned dog and cat food is also being accepted, although the center doesn’t have enough storage to take large bags of dry pet food. For more information on the food pantry, call the senior center at 508-697-0929. end of story marker
