Rash of house break-ins

A Carver resident has been charged with breaking and entering, following an investigation by Police Officer David Harriman into several break-ins in the Pine Tree Village area. Jamie J. Beal, 26, of Williams Street, was taken into custody by last week at his home and arraigned at Wareham District Court. The Pine Tree Village incidents are part of a rash of house break-ins plaguing the community. The day before, an intruder was surprised at a residence on South Main Street and fled. The suspect is described as in his early 20s, with short dark hair and a tattoo on his upper right arm. Anyone with information on these incidents is asked to call the police at 508-866-2000.
