The Westford Rotary Club is scheduled to hold its annual Pig ’n Pepper Festival from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Nashoba Valley Ski Area. In response to popular demand, the event will feature more barbecue than ever as well as live music, dance demonstrations, and costumed characters. New this year: a food-on-a-stick tasting pavilion, “road rebels” antique cars, and a veggie derby, in which people of all ages can play with produce. Anyone who brings a canned or boxed food item for the rotary’s food drive will receive a free ticket for a special prize drawing. Proceeds will benefit several area charities, including Habitat for Humanity of Greater Lowell and the Merrimack Valley Food Bank, and local organizations such as the Roudenbush Community Center and Westford’s Scout troops.
