The School Committee is taking its first step toward issuing Superintendent David DeRuosi his first report card. A subcommittee has been meeting to establish the criteria on which to evaluate DeRuosi’s first year leading the Malden Public Schools. Criteria suggested by the Massachusetts Association of School Committees will be a starting point for the committee. “We’ll start with that standard form and then embellish it for Malden,” said Ward 6 School Committee member Stephen Winslow, who heads the superintendent evaluation subcommittee. “Then we’ll set up a process to actually do the evaluation.”end of story marker
