The Recreation Department recently released its list of fall programs and has begun registration. The largest offering is the after-school program for children in kindergarten through sixth grade. The program will run weekdays from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Pembroke Community Center, offering activities ranging from sports and arts and crafts to pool and air hockey. Other programs for young people include archery, drama, flag football, magic lessons, and a play group for small children. For adults, there is a quilting class for people who have done some quilting but want to learn more. The department also is organizing several family day trips and will provide details later. For more information or to sign up for a program, go to the Recreation Department page on the town website, www.pembroke-ma.gov or call 781-293-3249.   end of story marker
