Medford Community Housing this month is offering a workshop for first-time home buyers on three evenings. The first class is scheduled to take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Sept. 11 at the Medford Housing Authority, 121 Riverside Ave. . The two subsequent classes are scheduled for Sept. 13 and Sept. 18 at the same time and location. Participants will learn about the home-buying process. Those who complete the workshop will receive a Citizens’ Housing and Planning Association  certificate, which will allow them to apply for home loan mortgage programs tailored to first-time home buyers and available through local lenders, state housing programs, and the Federal Housing Administration. The cost of the class is $60.
