The town’s Cultural Council is accepting applications for its next round of grants supporting local arts programs and activities. Applications are available at the town clerk's office in the Veterans Memorial Building and the Millis Public Library; they are due back by Oct. 15. In addition, the council is hosting an arts festival on Oct. 13 and is looking for Millis artists to display their work. Space is given out on a first-come, first-served basis and artists can display up to two pieces each. The show will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.  in the Veterans Memorial Building's gym. The deadline to register is Oct. 4; registration forms are available at the town clerk's office and the library. E-mail Madeline Yusna at myusna@millis.net for more information.
