An effort is underway to find a replacement for the school district’s superintendent, Joseph Connelly, who was hired on an interim basis for the 2011-2012 academic year. The School Committee, a 14-member search committee, and the Massachusetts Association of School Committees are collaborating on the process to recruit candidates. Officials are aiming to fill the position by early next year. Connelly will continue in the job until his successor is hired.
