Hull High School has been named a 2012 National Blue Ribbon School by the federal Department of Education,  one of 269 public and private schools recognized nationwide. Four schools received the designation in Massachusetts; the other three were Westwood High School, City on a Hill Charter School in Roxbury, and Fenway High School in Boston. Hull High School was honored for making significant progress in student achievement.
