The town’s seasonal ban on nonessential outdoor water use between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily is due to expire on Sept. 30. The ban, which went into effect on May 1, covers watering of lawns by sprinklers or other means, and washing of vehicles, building facades, driveways, and sidewalks. The conservation measures are administered by the Department of Public Works.
