Alex M. Casna, 24, of Holbrook, was arrested after Abington police said they found stolen GPS units and accessories estimated at $2,000 in his car on the morning of Sept. 12. Concerned passersby at a local Target store contacted local police after seeing Casna unconscious behind the wheel of his car, legs hanging from the front driver's door, while an unrestrained 2-year-old played in the back seat where a rear door was open. Abington Officer Gerard Julien-Suarez, who responded to the scene, discovered a used prescription bottle and a bag containing eight GPS units and accessories by the front seat of the vehicle. Though Casna stated that the units belonged to family members, Julien-Suarez contacted Holbrook police, who confirmed that the GPS units matched up with equipment that had been reported stolen.
