The Board of Health has released its schedule of free flu-inoculation clinics for residents this fall. Flu is a particular concern to the very young, those age 65 and older, pregnant women, and people with weakened immune systems. Clinics will be held for residents age 65 and over on Oct. 1 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Council on Aging offices in the Town Center Building, 12 Mudge Way; and for ages 8 and up on Oct. 13 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the John Glenn Middle School cafeteria, 99 McMahon Road. Although the vaccines are free, participants are asked to bring insurance cards so the town can be reimbursed. Anyone under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. For more information, call the board at 781-275-6507 or visit www.bedfordma.gov/health.
