The recently completed project to build a new playground at Moulton Park will be the subject of a documentary film. The playground was built by volunteers this month to replace an antiquated playground at the Albion Street park, through funds raised privately by the Friends of Moulton Park. A ribbon-cutting was scheduled for last Friday. Wakefield Community Access Television is creating the documentary from video footage it shot during the project, including the planning and mapping, fund-raising, demolition of the old playground, the new playground construction, and the ribbon-cutting. The documentary will air on WCAT in the next month, according to Tom Stapleton, executive director of WCAT. end of story marker
