North Reading High School has been named one of the top 50 high schools in Eastern Massachusetts by Boston Magazine. In the publication’s 2012 rankings, North Reading High School placed 32d on the list. The magazine compared data in 15 different categories, including standardized test scores, per-pupil spending, graduation and college attendance rates, student-teacher ratio, and the number of advanced placement classes, sports, and clubs. The survey covered schools within Interstate 495.
