Norton Community Television is building a larger studio and hoping to move in December, according to its director, Jason Benjamin. At 3,000 square feet, the studio will be about three times the size of its current one, and will include a training laboratory for workshops on video editing and other topics, he said. The new studio is on the second floor of the same building as the existing one, at 184 West Main St. The price of the renovation, he said, is $150,000 for construction, plus $100,000 for new equipment, funded through the organization’s budget, which comes from an agreement with Comcast to provide 4 percent of its local revenue. Norton Community Television broadcasts on Comcast Channels 9, 15, and 98. Videos are also available on the group’s website, www.nortontv.orgend of story marker
